Vice President for Economics
Born in Sverdlovsk. Graduated from Sverdlovsk National Economy Institute in 1987 with a degree in merchandising. Subsequently trained as an accountant (1992) and auditor (1995).
In 1992-1996, Malek served as an accountant and chief accountant in a number of commercial enterprises in Sverdlovsk Region. In 1996-2003, she worked as a lead expert in audit firm ABEK, before serving as Deputy CEO for Planning at an alloy plant in the town of Polevskoy, Sverdlovsk Region, from 2003 to 2004.
In 2004, Tatiana Malek joined the Russian Copper Company as Director for Economics. Since January 2016, she has been RRC’s Vice President for Economics.
She supervises revenue and expenditure budgeting and administration at the enterprises of RCC Group, as well as budgeting and analysis of investment projects and RCC’s tendering processes.
