Vice President for GR and Strategic Communications
Born in 1969 in Moscow. Graduated from the Moscow Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation in 1994, and the Russian Academy of Public Service in 2003.
Govorov began his career in 1994 as Head of IT at AK&M agency. In 1998-1999, he ran a department at the Russian Government’s National Debt Centre, before joining EVRAZ company in 1999 as Vice President for Power Generation. In 2005-2006, he headed the Power Generation Service at oil & gas holding SIBUR, and in 2006-2008 he served as Deputy CEO of Rucom company, where he was responsible for managing energy assets. From 2009 to 2010 he was Deputy CEO at Rosdorlising.
Since 2013, Dmitry Govorov has been Vice President of RCC. He oversees government, public and media relations issues.
Govorov is a member of the Environment and Natural Resources Management Committee of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. He has been awarded a medal for Services to Kuzbass.
