CEO of Karabashmed
Born in 1972 in the town of Revda, Sverdlovsk Region. Graduated from the Ural State College in 1997 and from the Ural State Mineral Recourses University in 2011 as a specialist in mining equipment.
Andrey Khanzhin began his career in 1992 as a maintenance technician at the Middle Uralcopper smelting plant, rising over the course of 6 years to the position of mechanic in the copper smelting shop. In 2003, he was appointed Chief Engineer of the Equipment Preparation and Operation Bureau, and in 2004 became Head of the Mechanical-Repair Centre of the MiddleUral copper smelting plant.
Khanzhinjoined RCC in 2008 as foreman of a metallurgic shop at Karabashmed. In 2009, he became Chief Engineer, and in 2014-2016served as Deputy CEO for Operations, Repairs and Capital Construction.
In 2016, he was appointed Chief Engineer, and then CEO of Karabashmed.
