CEO of Uralgidromed
Born in 1971 in the village of Bulanash, Sverdlovsk Region. Graduatedin 1993 from the Sverdlovsk Mining Institute as a specialist in the development of stratified deposits.
In 1995-2003, Nikolay Azarov worked at the Middle Ural Copper Smelting Plant in Sverdlovsk Region, where he rose through the ranks from worker to Head ofthe Environmental Protection and Safety Department.
His career at RCC started at ORMET, where he served as Chief Engineer. In 2005-2007, as COO of Karabashmed, he managed the plant’s modernization project. In 2007-2010, he held the position of CEO at the Kyshtym Copper Electrolytic Plant.
In 2010-2014, Nikolay Azarov held management positions at the Sverdlovsk Research Institute of Chemical Machinery Manufacturing andthe VENTA Machinery Plant in Nizhneturinsk.
In 2015, he returned to RCC as Adviser to the President. Since April 2015, he has been CEO of the Uralgidromed facility.
