He was born in 1961 in Ust-Talovka village, East Kazakhstan region.
In 1987 he graduated from the Moscow Mining Institute with a degree in «Technology and complex mechanization of the open development of mineral deposits», in 2001 - East Kazakhstan State Technical University with a degree in «Underground development of mineral deposits».
In 1986-2002, Alexander Vladimirovich worked at the East Kazakhstan copper-chemical plant (Corporation «Kazakhmys», Republic of Kazakhstan), where he rose from a mining foreman to the head of the production and technical Department of the plant.
In 2002-2004 he worked in «Sibirginsky Cut» JSC and «Southern Kuzbass» JSC. In 2004-2005 he held the position of the chief industrial engineer of «Raspadsky Cut» («Raspadskaya coal company» CJSC).
In 2007-2009, Alexander Vladimirovich worked as managing Director of «Vesely mine» JSC («Mining company «Siberia» JSC). In 2009-2011 he held head positions in «Aprelkovo Mine» JSC («Severstal-Gold» LLC).
Alexander Vladimirovich Lukyanov have joined the Russian Copper Company in 2011 and held the position of the Chief engineer of «Mikheevsky GOK» CJSC until 2014. Since 2018 he is the head of «Amur Minerals» LLC (the operator of the mining project of Malmyzhskiy Deposit in the Khabarovsk region).
He was awarded the diploma of the Federal Agency on Mineral Resources and the diploma of the Governor for his contribution to the construction of one of the largest mining and processing plants in Russia.
